Praesco reads sensitive financial data, so here is exactly how it is protected.
- Read-only. Praesco can see your accounts to analyze them. It cannot move money or place trades. Ever.
- Your credentials never touch us. You log in to your bank through Plaid; your username and password go directly to Plaid and are never stored on Praesco's servers.
- Encrypted end to end. All data moves over encrypted connections, and the keys that let us read your accounts are encrypted at rest with AES-256.
- Multi-factor login. You can turn on multi-factor authentication on your account.
- Your data is yours. We never sell it, never show ads, and never use it to train a shared AI model.
The only person who pays Praesco is you. No bank or product provider pays us to recommend anything, so nothing about how we read or handle your data is shaped by an outside party.
